My must have for sugar cookies

The basic mix for both dough and making royal icing with a hand mixer is sufficient. The motor on this Kitchen aid mixer also is powerful enough short term for the dough. 

This is a popular choice among cookers and its delivers even cookies every time. It's easy to clean with rubber bands which are easily interchangeable for different thicknesses. 

P.s. I have tried another popular rolling pin with colourful ends.... big mistake.! they kept popping off, which led to mis shaped cookies and therefore needed to be rolled a lot which took longer. 

Whilst you are able to decorate with tips for flowers and details. Mostly cookies use tipless bags for their day to day decorating. The clean up is faster and it allows more accurate placement of the icing. Needless to say you are able to double bag for multiple colour effect. This bundle is especially useful for the scrib and the elastic bag ties which I use every day.
